Detecting, Mitigating, and Preventing Credential Theft
Feedback form is now closed.

Description:
How do attackers compromise credentials? What happens when an attacker compromises credentials? How can you protect your environment? These are all questions you need to be asking if your organization is utilizing the cloud in any way, since over 90% of security breaches can now be tied to identity. Everybody put on your black hat and join us as we put ourselves in the shoes of an attacker and demonstrate just how easy it is for an attacker to steal an account and use it to entrench themselves in your environment. Don't worry though, we're not just here to scare! We'll jump straight in and show how tools like Microsoft's ATP suite (Defender, Azure, and Office 365 ATP), as well as simple reporting within local and Azure AD can help prevent, monitor, and stop credential theft in its tracks.

What you will learn:
  • How credential theft occurs
  • How to prevent and react to credential theft
  • What happens after credentials are stolen
