Description: Role Based Administration (RBA) in System Center Configuration Manager (ConfigMgr) is a critical mechanism for most organizations. It enables a divide and conquer approach to administration by controlling visibility and manageability of nearly all objects in the ConfigMgr console. RBA is also key to preventing mishaps in any organization where there are distinct separate responsibilities or even [gasp] a lack of trust between admins. Configuring RBA though is bit a cumbersome as there is no hierarchy of non-collection objects and thus there is no inheritance of controls and permissions on these objects. We’ll dive as deep as we dare into everything you need to know to implement RBA successfully along with the various caveats, exceptions, and things to avoid. We’ll also walk through common scenarios to help solidify what RBA actually is, how is actually works, and why you should be using it even in smaller organizations.
What you will learn:
Why RBA is not Role based access control (RBAC) and what it actually does.

Description: CMG allows us to manage our internet facing clients. Previously we have used Internet-based client management where we had to configure secure internet-facing site systems so that internet-based clients could communicate. This was a good technology with many advantages. However, there were also some disadvantages. Now we can use CMG to manage these clients. It consists of a Microsoft Azure cloud service and a ConfigMgr site system role that communicates with that Azure service. Internet clients can then use the Azure service to communicate with ConfigMgr. This is really cool technology and gives us many advantages over traditional internet based client management. In this session we'll learn how to set up a CMG.
What you will learn:
Understand the typical CMG management scenarios and which features are supported
See how the CMG actually works to deliver these features
Learn about the prerequistes for configuring a CMG, including certificates and firewall ports
Know how to create and use the CMG to manage internet clients

Description: How do attackers compromise credentials? What happens when an attacker compromises credentials? How can you protect your environment? These are all questions you need to be asking if your organization is utilizing the cloud in any way, since over 90% of security breaches can now be tied to identity. Everybody put on your black hat and join us as we put ourselves in the shoes of an attacker and demonstrate just how easy it is for an attacker to steal an account and use it to entrench themselves in your environment. Don't worry though, we're not just here to scare! We'll jump straight in and show how tools like Microsoft's ATP suite (Defender, Azure, and Office 365 ATP), as well as simple reporting within local and Azure AD can help prevent, monitor, and stop credential theft in its tracks.
